Portre Usta

A journey into portrait

Perhaps the utmost wish could be to depict a subject, a person, a phenomenon either easy to understand yet incredibly difficult to explain: the fact of facing, cohabitate a space, the ability or inability to see and, eventually, the possibility to portray.

Here a collection of those as a precedent to forthcoming commissions as I open the shop to local clients in Izmir, Turkey. Let’s see what comes out of it! ‘Portre Usta’ translates into Portrait Maker (though it should be written ‘Ustasi’ without te point on the ‘i’ but my keyboard doesn’t have that one, thankfully :D)
